All Hoosiers deserve the opportunity to financially thrive. Livable wages should be accessible to everyone. This includes educational foundations that can grow into careers, job skills, skilled labor, job training, and increases wages with a lower cost of living. Hoosier wages have been stagnant for decades. We need to attract well-paying jobs, while holding employers accountable for any incentives, and help ensure Hoosiers are hired.

Especially providing economic opportunities to the most vulnerable. 30% of Hoosiers rent their housing. Rental costs are prohibitively high and unobtainable when compared to wages, with unmaintained rentals. There is a housing crisis, with both rentals and home ownership. Affordable housing hardly exists and we must do more to increase the available housing that is affordable and accessible.

All wages should be increased, as the working class in not paid a survivable wage. We need a government system that increases the economic opportunities available to all Hoosiers.
